Welcome to Press Club, Gorakhpur
Press Club Gorakhpur was founded in year 1998 to provide a common platform for working journalists from the region. Over the years, its membership grew from 20 to more than 200. Press Club is open to general public also on a nominal booking fee to organise Press Conference. Almost all the print and electronic media people are amongst members of Press Club.
Its membership is open to any one having an interest in journalism or a working journalist representing print or electronic media. It has an approved constitution and its working is managed by a committee duly elected by eligible members.
संस्था का उद्देश्य: संस्था का मुख्य उद्देश्य पत्रकारिता के उन्नयन एवं उत्थान के लिए कार्य करना। संस्था समय-समय पर पत्रकारिता से सम्बन्धित गोष्ठियो का आयोजन करेगा। पत्रकारों के हितों के लिए भी प्रदेशीय तथा राष्ट्रीय संस्थाओं के साथ मिलकर कार्य करेगा।
